Phil Barnes has been a new home builder in Northern California with a focus on building energy efficient homes including a Department of Energy “Zero Energy” community. As the market changed Phil purchased a green remodeling company and retooled it to include energy efficient retrofits. Phil has obtained BPI certifications as a Building Analyst and Envelope professional. He also obtained a certification as a HERS 1 and 2 rater which monitors code compliance and rates homes. Phil is also a California licensed contractor with a B-1 general contractor, a C-2 insulation contractor and a C-20 HVAC contractor. Phil also possesses a California Real Estate Salesperson license.
