DTE Energy Account Setup & Billing Access Instructions

• Log on to www.dteenergy.com.
• Create a free online account, under Residential Customers tab; then click on Residential Customers Home.
• You will need:
  • Utility account number
  • Home address
  • Last 4 digits of utility account owner’s Social Security number
  • Email address
• Once registered, sign-in to your account.
• Under “My Account” tab, click on the account number and then “View Annual Comparison”.
• Print Annual Comparison and give to Home Performance Advisor, or highlight screen, copy and paste into an Excel file and submit via email to Taylor@WellHome.com.
• If you have both gas and electric service through Detroit Edison, then make sure to select both services from the drop-down menu and repeat the step above.
